Medical Office Technician - Certified Medical Assistant

Basic Functions

Position provides assistance to patients and providers with direct and indirect patient care. Medical Office Technician/Certified Medical Assistant works under the direction of the clinical provider and office manager.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited CAAHEP or ABHES Certified Medical Assistant course & registry by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • General knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality.
  • Zero to six months experience under the supervision of a physician in a clinical medical office setting with phlebotomy and medication administration
  • Medical Terminology
  • Basic first aid knowledge and current CPR certification.

MRI Technologist-PN

Basic Functions

Performs magnetic resonance imaging scans of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the clinician.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT certified or eligible.
  • At least twelve (12) months previous work experience in Radiology Technology.
  • Three (3) to six (6) months training period to become familiar with the equipment and departmental procedures.
  • Currently has CPR certification.
  • Preferably twelve (12) months previous work experience in MRI or other advanced modalities.
